York International Bond Information
Progress Updates York International Grand Opening and Dedication Ceremony!Close to 200 friends and family of Mapleton celebrated the grand opening of York International School and rededication of the Tony Rosa Courtyard. York students provided tours of the renovation and addition, showing guests the many improvements to their school made possible by the bond passed in November 2010. The renovations include new carpeting, tile, asbestos abatement, and the addition of a fire sprinkler. York’s 18,000 square-foot addition adds ten new high school classrooms, including two science classrooms outfitted for lab experiments. Watch a video of the grand opening!
